CHB Junior Football Club is proud to offer football to young players in Central Hawkes Bay.

We are the only junior football club in the CHB district and cater for ages 4 through to 13. Our local age grades offer the chance to play regular football on Saturday mornings at Russell Park in Waipukurau over the winter season, which runs from May until August. We welcome registrations for local CHB Junior football under our Registrations Page

Our club have recently partnered with Hastings Hibernian Sports Club to continue to offer players the opportunity to play in the Hastings Junior football league. Our partnership with Hastings Hibernian Sports Club will provide a path for junior footballers to progress through further age grades and beyond to senior football for both female and male players. 

A female senior football team represented CHB under the Hastings Hibernian banner in 2024, which will continue in 2025 with a male senior team also being created. This represents a significant development for football in CHB and shows that Hastings Hibernian are committed to delivering great outcomes for the CHB football community. CHB Junior Football is very proud to be part of the combined investment in CHB football with Hastings Hibernian Sports Club.

Registrations of interest for players that wish to compete in the Hastings league are encouraged under our Intercity registration section.
